Everyday patterns
Antique and vintage stores, local restaurants, bars, services, and neighborhood events give the corridor a distinct main-street pattern. Central Avenue amenities are close by.
Seventh Avenue is a major north-south route, while Indian School and Camelback roads provide east-west access. Light rail is available along Central Avenue east of the district.
Nearby options include Steele Indian School Park, canal connections farther north, and central-city bike and walking routes. Mountain preserves are a short drive away.
Before choosing an address
Commercial activity, nightlife, and arterial traffic vary by block and should be experienced at different times.
The Melrose label is often used beyond the one-mile commercial corridor, so verify the property’s actual setting.
Older and renovated homes can have materially different systems, additions, and permit histories.
